Hello all and happy new year!

My question regards the delineation of an inundation area following a 2D dam break analysis.

There is an option to automatically generate the inundation area in the Ras Mapper but it includes all the Mapping Output Intervals of the simulation.

I would like to generate the inundation area based on selected Output intervals only (i.e. I would like to disregard a certain number of Mapping Output Intervals at the beginning of the simulation).

I have found a get around using the Raster Calculator (Static Calculated Layers) by generating multiple input layers that correspond to the desired Mapping Output Intervals. However, this solution can become a little bit tedious when there are multiple Mapping Intervals, so I consider this is not very satisfying.

Does anyone have an idea on how to approach this problem?

I am working on HEC-RAS 6.3.1 but I think this comment applies to all versions of HEC-RAS 2D.

    Many thanks!
    Basile
