    Hello,

I am running HEC RAS 2D unsteady model. I have gauge discharge values at some points on the river which is enclosed within the 2D flow area. I would like to include those flow values as internal boundary conditions, not as additional flows but as actual flows. Is there any way to do it in HEC RAS 2D?

Are you saying you want to show an exact flow value at an exact location on a stream independent of the inflow?

For example your peak inflow hydrograph at the top of the reach is 250-cfs and 1 mile down the stream you want the flow to be exactly 200-cfs

Am i understanding your question correctly?

    Mr. Partida,

Yes, your understanding about my question is correct. The value at 1 mile downstream should be equal to 200-cfs and this flow value should contribute to the further downstream points.

Im not sure its possible. Theres obviously internal BC conditions allowed to add inflows anywhere in a mesh you need to. But requiring a certain value doesnt seem possible. And if you entered a dummy hydrograph (generate one manually) that would add the 200-cfs then you would be incorrectly representing the flow from a volume standpoint.
