1. How are the IC Points in 2D-areas working? I was hoping it would work like a initial condition for a 2D area –> All cells connected to the cell with the initial condition point would get the same WSE. E.g setting a IC Point of X WSE in the middle of a reservoir would lead to the whole reservoir having that specific elevation. In my case the reservoir is not filling up.
2. Also: When I am trying to use the “Prior WS Filename” as initial flow distribution method (using the results (WSE and Vel) from a previous file), my model starts empty. When using restart file, it works fine, but I need to be able to change the geometry of my model without the need for filling up the model with water to an initial WSE again and again.
Are there any trick to using this method for Initial conditions?
