    Hi everybody,

How could I import a geometry file into Ras Mapper?
For example I have digitised the river line and the bank lines in ArcGis and I want to bring them into Ras Mapper, rather than drawing them directly in Ras Mapper.

Or I simply want to transport a geometry created and saved from Ras Mapper (with the extension .g03.hdf) into another project.
I could not find any Import function within the Ras Mapper UI that would allow me to bring in the geometries.
I tried the Import Geometry from the Hec-Ras interface but there it doesn’t accept .hdf files.

    Thank you very much !

If you have created shape files, you can simply drag them into RAS mapper straight from the Explorer window(they end up in “Map Layers”). Or you can right click on map layers and use import function from sub-menus.
