    Hello!

I am looking for a way to import break lines to geometry editor. Since Geo-Ras does not contain break lines and I do not want to draw them manually in the geometry editor (I already produced break lines in ArcGIS) I would like to know if there is a way to import break lines (maybe as xy-data or shape-file) directly into the geometry data.

    Thanks for the help!

From the Geometry Editor > GIS Tools > Breaklines GIS Coordinates, you can copy and past xy data into an existing breakline, or create a new breakline and copy in xy data.

Okai, i will try that. Thank you. Otherwise I am getting into RiverGis:
    http://rivergis.com/ras2d_geometry.html
An open layers plugin which can be used as a substitute for HecGeo-Ras in QGis which also includes 2d breaklines. I will see.

You can also import shape files in the Breaklines GIS Coordinates window by selecting Import Lines on the bottom left.
