How to stabilize Unsteady Flow Model with Slope Greater than 10%?

Good Day,

I am currently modeling a river reach and running it in an unsteady flow. I used Normal Depth as my downstream boundary condition with 19.2% slope. I have been having a hard time in stabilizing the model. I have browsed over previous comments in this page for possible solutions and had tried each one of them, but there were no positive results. Is there anyway I could easily stabilize an unsteady flow with very steep slopes of more than 10%?

Would appreciate comments and solution. Thank you in advance.

Look into hydrologic routing for the portion of the reach that goes unstable. User’s Manual page 6-156.
