    I have couple of questions.

    1. I have a stream that meanders downstream of the bridge. I am trying to interpolate the cross-section that I need at location of full expansion but due to meandering of stream, interpolated cross-section falls at wrong location. How do i rotate interpolated section so it is perpendicular to the stream.

    2. The bridge i am modeling has 2 piers with slopped abutments. Do we need to block area between pier and abutment and allow flow between piers only? My thinking is that area between abutment and pier is open and flow does convey through it therefore flow should be allowed between abutment to abutment and not to be constraint between piers. Am i thinking correctly?

    Thanks,

    1. In Version 5.0.3, the alignment of the cross-sections can be changed in the geometry editor. Under the Edit pull down menu, select Move Points/Objects. This will highlight the points in the cross-section and allow you to move them. You can also add points under the Edit menu.

    2. If the piers and sloping abutments are included in the bridge geometry data, there should be no need to add blocked obstructions.
