I have a question about sediment output. I’ve done a 2D sediment simulation along a stream experiencing a 24hr-flood event. I set a profile line at the downstream end of the 2D flow area. The value I want to know is the total mass/volume of sediment flowing out the downstream end during the flood event. I can only plot a profile of total-load concentration at a specific time. Is it possible to get the sediment discharge (cumulative flux) in 2D modeling? Or do I have to use 1D modeling to get the value?
