Help HEC RAS with lid

Cross-section with lid and upstream of culvert is going from sub-critical to supercritical and causing profile crossing between different storm events. How do I fix this? Thank you.

First thing i recognized that the XS with Lids does not vary in elevations (broken back) or seemingly size. Is a Lidded cross section needed? The next question i have is are you using Preissmann slots?
