Help Converting HEC-2 Paper Model to HEC-RAS

I received a scan of a HEC-2 paper model and need to convert it to HEC-RAS. Is there a template I can use to manually type out the original model file?

HEC-RAS has an “import” function for HEC2 data sets.

You would have to get the HEC2 file into a text file. The quality does not look great. However, I would first try to scan it into a text file. There used to be some text editors designed for HEC2 data sets (“COED” was one). I wouldn’t know where you would find one that would still work.

I’ve not tried to import a HEC2 data set for many, many years. As I remember, it can bring in cross sections, but it leaves work to do, especially at bridges.
