    The river length for the section i selected is 35km and i tried to give three Boundary condition for the unsteady flow after running the flow i observed the flood depth shown has some discontinuity.
    I have attached the result of flood depth analysis.
    is there any limitation for the area or number of BC to be provided for an unsteady flow analysis.

    Three boundary conditions should not be a problem. How are the overbanks modeled? Is this a 1D, 2D or 1D/2D model?

    this is a 2D model i have not linked it to the 1D.
    is there any limitation on area coverage vs the boundary condition that has to be applied

    What time step did you use for the simulation?
