I imported geometry data from AutoCAD to create my HEC-RAS Model. Now I’m trying to export the results from HEC-RAS so that I can import them back into AutoCAD. When I export the data from HEC-RAS it creates an .sdf file that is only 1kb. Other .sdf files that I have exported from this same project are in the neighbor of 150kb. When I try to import into AutoCAD I get an error saying no object referenced. I think this is problem exporting from HEC-RAS. Any suggestions?

I figured it out. In case anyone else comes across this issue: I import 2 separate geometry (existing/proposed) files into the project. When I went to export, the reach selection was “defaulting” to the most recent geometry (proposed) which is why when I tried to export the existing conditions it could not reference an object because it was trying to pull from a reach that was in a different geometry file. Once again, a computer program is only as good as the person running it.
