HEC-RAS Error – Incomplete Data

Hello,

I’m modeling a bridge and culverts in Geo HEC RAS. After completing my model and running the analysis I’m notified of this error.
When I delete the piers the model will run error-free. But with piers, no luck. I’ve tried to edit the bridge pier geometry and such or see if I’m missing any perimeters.

Do you have any suggestions about how to fix this?

are you modeling a bridge and a culvert at the same structure?? You cannot have both a bridge with piers and culvert at the same structure unless you do multiple openings and split the structure into multiple.

If it is really just one opening then you are modeling it wrong. You would adjust the low chord to represent the opening and add piers, no culvert.

Thanks for the reply! Sorry for my late response.

You were right! I was modeling a bridge and culvert at the same road. Using multiple openings was the key. I forgot about my post and eventually called CivilGeo and they helped with this.
