Hec ras closed model, lids, problem

Hi! I have some problems with my hec ras model. I have placed over 100 cross sections with elevations, manning value etc in my model. My problem is that the channel is closed, and hec ras will not allow me to use closed cross sections(the first point will be repeated, and therefore it is not in the correct order). Is there another way to close all my cross sections? Is using lids an option? The channel is supposed to be completely closed, so no water should run through the lid. Hope somebody has the answer

Put lids for every cross section of the pressure flow reach. The top of the lid should be higher than energy to avoid flow over the lid. I use lids to model complex mixed pressure and free surface flow systems (sometimes HEC-RAS has problems to converge if multiple looped split/junction sections are used)
