So at least for me, when HEC-RAS does an autobackup, it changes the program’s priority in the running programs to #2, below whatever program I have active at the time. For example, say I have HEC-RAS, Excel and Word open on my computer. I’m twiddling around in Excel, I switch to Word using Alt-Tab, then back to Excel. HEC-RAS should be #3 on the list, but then it does an autobackup. On my next Alt-Tab, instead of going from Excel back to Word, it now goes to HEC-RAS.
Is there any way to change this hijacking behavior, other than turning Autobackup off?
