HEC-RAS 2D Modeling stuck at unsteady flow data input

Hi all, have you met similar problem like this when you try to input the unsteady flow data?

I drew two BC lines in Geometry and wanted to edit the BC condition for these two. However the lower boundary one only had the “Flow Hydrograph” option, but I’d like to use Normal Depth. I redrew BC lines several times it still doesn’t work. Could it be something wrong with my terrain data?

If it is only giving a flow option, it sounds like the BC line is inside the 2D area. To use normal depth the line needs to be entirely outside the 2D area.

If the line is outside, save and close the geometry. If that doesn’t work, force it to recompute the mesh.

I recomputed the mesh as you said, made the line outside the 2D area and saved the geometry, this time IT WORKS!
