    Hello,

I am running into a weird pre-processing error of my geometry data regarding property tables and not sure what is the cause. Does anyone have any resolutions? This is a rain-on-grid 2D.

Computing 2D Flow Area ‘Bogue Banks’ tables: Property tables do not exist.
ERROR: Property Tables error: Index was outside the bounds of the array. (Bogue Banks)

So far I have tried to recreate the geometry, including my Land Cover, Soil, and Infiltration, as well as updating some discrepancies in the DEM where the base LiDAR was having trouble flattening. Also tried to switch to Full Momentum from Diffusion Wave method, tried to mess with the compute settings, but no luck and running out of ideas. Tried manually computing the property tables via 2D Flow Area Editor also

[RESOLVED]: one of the cells near the 2D Flow Area boundary didn’t contain a computation point. Unless it’s a connecting stream/structure with a concurrent 2D area, I believe it’s ideal to leave a buffer or just confirm by zooming into them.

Hey Daniel, I am glad you figured this out. One way that is best practice to avoid this happening, is to place a dummy breakline along the perimeter of your mesh. This breakline does not even have to triangulate but it forces your cells at the boundary to triangulate perpendicular to your boundary condition line especially when imposing stage. This is also true with lateral structures connecting 1D domains to 2D domains.
