    Hello All,

I am working with an existing dam breach model and have recently added a second set of gates to better simulation the facility parameters. However, the invert of these gates is below my upstream cross section bottom in some places. Attached below is a screen shot showing the inline structure and gate locations.

I have run the model successfully and have gotten equivalent results as with gate inverts above the cross section bottom, but I can’t help but worry that the cross section bottom may be interfering with the gate flow calculations. Any advice on what affect this would have if any on the gate flow is appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Joey

The cross section bottom does not interfere with the gate computations. You’re good.
