    Hi everyone,

    I am working on a project using Hec ras 2D.However,in the simulation in Ras Mapper,my flow wave is disappearing before reaching to the next flow wave.I think it is related to the time step.

    Does anyone has an idea how to fix it?

    I saw a video on youtube,and it says that you need to refer to CFL conditions in Hec ras 5.0 documentation.

    Does anyone know what CFL conditions means?

    Any help or suggestion is much appreciated.Thank you so much.

    Courant Criteria. Basically you don’t want your max velocity to be greater than your time step.
