Flood Mapping

Hello Everyone,

Before I show my problem, I want to apologize about my understanding first. I have search about Flood map and I saw someone face with the problem like me too, but I don’t understand the solution that’s why I post this again.

I have studied about flood mapping by hec-ras. However, I found that the inundation area is all the boundary that I set. One more problem is when I enter many profiles and see the animation. I found that the water is not come out over bank, but it will rise equally both side with channel. I know my english is not good so I will upload the picture. Could anyone give some advice please?

You may want to add a “levee”.

Cross Section Editor > Options > Levees…
