Finite Volume Approximations

Pagg.2.63-2.64 of Hydraulic Reference Manual are referred to the finite volume approach.
1)In the description at pag. 2.63 is mentioned the “gradient term ad a grid face”…
Which is the grid corresponding to? The blue grid or the red grid?
I suppose the blue…
And what about the face? The highlighted in the figure?

2)at pag.2.64 is introduced the equation 2-148 where “the sum is over all cells around the calculation face…”
which are the cells to consider?
Regarding the dual area (A’), if I consider the face highlighted in the first figure, the area is calculated adding the two regions inside the two dual cells?
