Now that we can import lanudse files into ras mapper, is there a way to extract mannings’s n at each cross section from the landuse map that we import into ras mapper?

i extracted cross sections from hecgeoras. For some reason, my cross section looked different from the the undelying terrain. So in HEC-RAS 5.0.3, i used the “cut from terrain” option in geometry editor to update the elevations. In this process, i lost information on the ‘n’ values for the cross sections. Is there a way to retrieve it in HEC-RAS itself.

Kindly help me on this one.

    Thanks,
    Bharath

Not currently that I am aware of. Since the cutline lengths are not going to change, you could just import in the data from GeoRAS to the geometry and only select the n values to import (not the terrain).
