Anyone have experience with the automated roughness calibration tool?

I have all the gage data setup properly and am able to include the option for it to run in the unsteady simulation.

I ran the unsteady simulation for a reasonable amount of time to stabilize the results before including the automated roughness calibration. The calibration window was the last few hours of a 1week simulation.

On the first iteration of the calibration, the model went unstable and gave me the following error message:

Mannings Calibration error 2.349 start iteration # 1

**** ERROR: Solution Solver Failed ****

Error with program: RasUnsteady64.exe Exit Code = -1073740791

Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

My calibration parameters are: Squared Error method, 20 iterations, 0.1 change in factor, 0.1 error evaluation tolerance, 0.5-2 limits for roughness factors, global optimization method. I am trying to calibrate against 10 gages.
