Error, Permission Denied

When I attempt to run an unsteady flow analysis, I received the following error message:

Error in Writing Intermediate Computation File. Permission denied.

Anyone know how to fix this?

This happens when previous RAS 4.1 runs have been stopped or aborted. Apparently the memory gets corrupted and the way out is to do a restart.

Just posting for the potential benefit of anyone who encounters this in future:
I had a project generating this error with a 2D model in 6.4.1
Restarting not just HEC-RAS but the computer did not help. Opening the geometry editor it turned out to be just an error about two computation points being too close together; I’m not sure if I somehow managed to save the geometry in RAS Mapper without being prompted about the error, or just overlooked it.
