Hi, i’m sorry for my english but I’m italian.
    I found a strange problema in hec-ras.
I’m modeling a very simple model:
I have a simple terrain that is like a funnel. I modeled it in hec-ras like a 1D storage area in hec-ras 5.0.5 and imput an hydrograph. No output. and I obtained a final level of 0.79 m.
    If I run the same model in hec-ras 5.0.6 I obtain 0.79m
    If I run the same model in hec-ras 5.0.3 or 5.0.1 I obtain 5.3 m!!!!!!!
Also if I calculate the volume of hydrograph it is 1257000mc. In sagagis I look for the level of my terrain that contains that volume and I obtain 1.11m! Infact it is impossible to contain that volume whith a level of 0.79m!
Also i copied the model file and i transformed the 1D storage area in a 2D storage area and run it. In this case I obtain a level of water of 1.11m !!!! this is correct!!!!
If i control the planimetry of 1D model and 2D model, the wetted area is the same!
Finally if i control the 1d storage area curfe of volume/altitude, at my volume corresponds 1.11 m!!!!!
It seems that the 1D model is wrong!
    Can you help me?
