Error Creating New Terrain - Kleinschmidt

I’m trying to create a new terrain but I’m getting the following message:

Can anyone tell me what this means? I’m trying to import SurfaceNV0118-006.tif and save it as Terrain.hdf and doing it on the local drive. I’m not sure why it’s trying to create that long file name in the error message.

Turns out that it was a problem with the *.tif. The projection didn’t get “attached” when I created it.
