Error: computed weir stationing on the tailwater side is not increasing

Hi

I am performing a dam breach analysis and keep getting this error “computed weir stationing on the tailwater side is not increasing”. Any ideas of what is causing this error.

Any help would be appreciated. I am attaching my model for your assistance.

You have the connection tied to a SA that is being covered by a 2D area. You cant make a internal storage area connector connect to both. Either you have to delete the basin SA and model the basin in 2D or trim your 2D area to the limits of the basin and connect the two together with storage area connector(s).
I would do the entire thing in 2D I believe.

Thanks. If i do it in 2D. Is there a way to specify the storage volume? Or does it read directly from the terrain?

it will read directly from the terrain if modeled in 2D.
