    Hello everyone,

    I need help with my flood modelling. When I perform a steady flow analysis, the water stays constant at the sides of the bank stations, even though it should decline. How can I make the water decline at the sides of the bank stations?

    HEC-RAS calculates one water surface elevation for each cross-section. There is no way for it to have more than one.

    You would either need to do a 1D/2d model or an all 2D model to get different results in the overbanks.
