Easiest way to edit the geometry schematic?

I started with an existing RAS model that had georeferenced cross sections. I extended it upstream in the Geometry Editor by simply copying the most upstream cross section to a new River Station and adjusting the elevation and downstream reach lengths (I didn’t have any more GIS surface data where these sections are). The model runs just fine, but the cross section schematic in the Geometry Editor window doesn’t show the additional cross sections because they all have the same georeferencing as the original cross-section that was copied, so they’re all drawn on top of each other. I want the schematic to show all the cross sections. If I “Remove the GeoReference Cut Line Data” for the added cross sections, the schematic will plot them as points upstream of the original reach (where they should be), but there’s no cross section line, just a point where the cross section would intercept the reach line if it was extended. How can I get the schematic to draw the cross-section lines where these points are? I tried just adding a constant 100 units to the data in the cut line table, but it didn’t move the whole cross-section like I thought it would. These are dog-leg cross sections, not straight lines.

In the geometry schematic, hover your mouse cursor over the point where you would like each vertex in your “copied” cross sections to be. There’s a x-y coordinate readout in your geometry schematic on the lower right. Record those points. You may have to zoom in pretty close to get the precision in your coordinate points that you’d like. Then go to GIS Tools…XS Cutlines Table, and enter in those coordinate points for each of your copied cross sections.

Hi i have created a XS cut lines,banks,Flowpath,and river 3D in GIS and exported to HECRAS. But there is a need to edit the cross sections coordinates. I dont know the techniques, methods and reasons to correct the cross sections.
