i am running 4.1. I thought all you needed was a geometry file, flow file and plan file to run unsteady and a dss would be created. I attempt to run it and i get the dss not found. I have a dss from the same project in another file. All i did for my new project was create a new storage node and replaced an existing one attached to a lateral structure. How do i get it to create a new dss or can i use the existing one?
I have run into this before when saving projects to a new file location. I just copied the dss file from the original folder and pasted it into the new folder. I have not had any problems with this solution.
Thanks AJ. I saved the project under a new name and replaced my pond and it seems to work.
Another question. Is the depth vs volume entry an accumulated number or area per foot? i.e. el 6 = 10 ac ft, el 7 = 13, el 8 = 16 OR
el 6 = 10 ac ft, el 7 = 23, el 8 = 39.
The elevation volume curve for a storage area is cumulative. So the volume for a given elevation, is the total volume in the reservoir below that elevation.
