Dam break simulation using HEC-RAS

Good evening. I want to know if it’s possible to simulate a dam break in HEC-RAS. I want to simulate a flood in the upstream part of a river and to see how the water concentrates in the accumulation lake supported by the dam and at what flow the dam can fail. Anyone knows how could I do this?

This can be done. I have done this many times in HEC-RAS. The document below has some information on dam breach modeling in HEC-RAS.
