I have obtained the FEMA model for a project I am working on. I have to compile information used from another HnH sub. for a bridge design into the overall model for the city’s CFM. The problem is that the effective model has river stations by name, i.e 33,34,35; and not by the real station. My question is how can I find the actual river stations for the cross sections so I can add the new surveyed sections to the model in the correct location?

If you know the placement of the cross-sections in the FEMA model than you could either measure the stationing in GIS or take the channel reach length. If the model is not georeferenced, then you would need to get it georeferenced based on the lettered cross-sections on the FIS floodplain.

I was able to get real stationing back on the project just by going to the Geometric Data->Tables->Names->River stations and assigning a value to the beginning section. After that I was better able to interpolate where my new data went and could create new sections at the appropriate stations.
