    Hey

I have drawn the centerlines and named them with the River ID tool. River name is the same for all the centelrines, and I have different reach names. But when I try to fill in the attributes I get the message ” error in stream length tool”. When I try to calculate length for stations I get the message “more than one upstream feature with the same RiverID”. From the tutorial in the manual this should not be the case since I have unique reach names… If I change the river names as well, then I get the calculations done. But then I have defined five different rivers, when I actually only have one river, but different reaches. So now I get station from 0 to xxxx for each river reach, so they are not connected as I want them to be. Can anyone please help out on this? The centerlines are connected to the same junctions.

It sounds like you have several upstream branches leaving from a junction. Only one of the upstream branches from a node can have the same river name.

Aha! I will test this out later. Thank you for the reply and help, appreciate it.
