    Hello
How can I export the corner coordinates of each 2D computational mesh from HEC-RAS 5.0.1?I need the coordinates of 2D computational mesh for importing to a habitat model.

The post above will give you the XY coordinates for the outer boundary of the 2D area.

If you want XY coordinate of the center of every cell, from the Geometric Editor, click on the 2D Flow Area button (on the left side of the screen) and click on View/Edit Computation Points.

If you want the outline of each cell, I’m not sure how to do that directly. For a simple grid, it wouldn’t be too hard to compute it from the cell centers.

Thank you very much for your answer. Yes I want the coordinate for each corner of each cell.

If you open up the *.p01.hdf file, there is a table that contains the coordinates for the face points, which is what you are looking for. What you could also do is export out the mesh as a shapefile which you could use to get the values.
