    Hi,

Does anybody know how the Error and Percent Error are calculated/determined and what are they a function of?
I had a look in the Users Manual, Reference Manual, Applications Guide and 2D Modelling Users Manual and I wasn’t able to find anything related to it.

The Error and Percent Error are found in the Computation Log File – open the Unsteady Flow Analysis, go to options and click on “View Computation Log File…”.

    Thanks,
    CM

Someone correct me if im wrong here:

But i believe it is just the results of continuity. Slight instabilities can cause the software to converge to a solution in order to keep XS’s wet which may cause variances in volume not equally exactly “what come in = what comes out”. The percent error is shown, obviously in percent, and the error to the left of that is expressed in the units of volume the simulation was run under. For example US customary = ac ft
