Civil 3D Export to RAS Issues

So I have a Civil 3D drawing with a surface, alignment, and a sample line group. I have set the drawing setting to a known projection.

I use the Export to HEC RAS tool to create the geo file to be imported into RAS.

I import the geo file using the “GIS Format…” selection. In the geometry window of RAS, i only see a straight alignment line without any cross sections. When selecting the cross section button, the cross sections exist and have the proper reach lengths associated with them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Resolution. Turns out the alignment I was sampling from extended beyond the extents of the surface I was sampling from. So HEC-RAS drew in a graphical representation that was not realistic. Trimmed the alignment and re-imported and everything looks fine.
