Hi,
I am having some thoughts about changing water surface elevation with regards to cell size.
From what I have seen, there is a joint agreement that reducing cell size until you dont get a change in water surface elevation is the “right” way to check sensitivity in a model.
My thoughts: Smaller cell size are not always better, e.g. when modelling rivers with cell size << water depth.
My question is: Is there a limit on how small the cell size should be, considering computed water depth in your model?
Thanks in advance, and a happy new year to everyone
