Canal/Stream near the sea – Initial WSE

Hi,

I need help in modeling a canal/stream that has a constant water surface elevation all year. I want to start my model with an initial water surface elevation throughout my reach. And apply a steady or unsteady flow from stormwater runoff.

It is affected by tides but that is of secondary importance.

What I have in mind is to backsolve (simulate for a number of iterations to determine Q that gives the specific WSE) and add that flow to the stormwater runoff.

Lookup the ungaged lateral inflow option. It might be made to work for your problem.
