Welcome to the RAS Solution › Forums › HEC-RAS Help › Bridge Water Height
Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my flood modelling. At the cross-section with bridges, the water has a sudden jump in the water height and I don’t know why.
I appreciate every help. Thank you in advance.
Your results show that everything is hitting critical depth. This is not normal usually and would be something I would look into.
How is the bridge solution being calculated? Is it energy, pressure/weir? It looks like the bridge is causing backwater and changing the results.
Thank you for the response. The bridge is being calculated by energy only.
What is your discharge?
What does the bridge/cross-section geometry look like?
So this is how the bridge cross section looks like:
I don’t know though where I can find the discharge.
Thank you for the response.
