Anomalous maximum velocity results in culverts (numerical bug?)

Hi,

After running a model, without relevant errors, results seem good. However, checking maximum maps for velocity, in some culverts appear extreme high values. I cannot check the instant this velocity occurs, but I think it is in some time during the rising limb of the hydrograph.

I made different trials (grid spacing, timestep, etc…) but the problem continues. If I remove the culvert, this peak value disappears. So I assume it is related to some numerical issue associated with the culvert (Saint-Venant equations and culvert performance…).

Any comment would be appreciated!
