Advanced Workshop — Hec-RAS

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re fine.
I would like to ask you if you ever noticed a advanced workshop for hec-ras in Canada? I found a lot of interesting formation in USA… but it’s easier for my employer to formed in the country.
Advanced Hec-Ras for me is that I have a previous Hec-Ras modeling experience. I’m looking to get knowledge and pratice about unsteady flow and advanced steady flow modeling (modeling drop structures, boundary conditions, split flow, etc…).

So my questions are:

1. Have you noticed a Hec-Ras workshop in Canada?
2. Do you know an organism (similar to Floodplain Management Association in USA) that gives and advanced formation on HEC-Ras?
3. Do you know an expert that actually gives bootcamp or workshop?

In response to #3, WEST Consultants does do custom workshops for HEC-RAS. I have taken the Basic workshop (steady flow, bridges, culverts, junctions, etc..) which was really useful. WEST has put on customized HEC-RAS workshops for both public sector and private companies.
