    I am performing a sediment analysis with HEC-RAS 5.0.0. I use a 0.32mm diameter grains only (one diameter) and the boundary condition equilibrium load.
    With the Exner 5 function, I have an equilibrium of the bed whereas with Active layer function, I observe an erosion upstream. I don’t understand why. There is only one diameter of grain. Thus, armoring should have any effects on the bed change.

    Could someone help me to understand?
