    Hec Ras 5.04 does not produce ‘Downstream Reach Lengths for LOB and ROB’ automatically only produces for Channel.

    It would have been very useful to have an option that allows the user to set the main channel banks stations as a border between 1D and 2D Flow Simulation areas. When adding 2D areas tools like snapping’ to projecting the borders of 2d areas to levees on the banks or the bank points and lines would make it easier.

    When adding lateral structure, weir, as 1D-2D connection or SA-2D connection, to have the adjacent cells’ heights in 2A areas as table would be very useful tool to set lateral structure heights correctly at the first place.

    HEC RAS, even in older version assumes channel is the lowest point in the cross section no matter your bank stations. You can test this in interpolation as it will make incorrect cross sections if there is a lower point in the cross section that is not between your banks. I do not think it should auto compute because it is the only thing representing the dx as it solves. It should be input and measured by the user as this can vary a lot based on the model.

    The auto snap feature would be amazing though
