With the Beta 4.7 HMS being made available, I was shocked to see the precipitation analysis addition. The documentation is still minor on how to set up and complete an analysis (even their how to was confusing)

Has anyone compared the difference from RAS precip using excess precipitation to HMS results. Currently in the beta you can not create the mesh in HMS and it must be done by importing a RAS mesh along with its boundary conditions pre-set. The mesh must also be set to a specific subbasin meaning each subbasin needs its own mesh? Discretization methods can also now be selected uniquely and I am curious to hear some of your results and experience so far.
