I’m performing a pure 2D model. I used 2 boundary condition: the upstream Boundary condition consists in a flow hydrograph, the Downstream consists in a fixed stage level (represent the sea level, fixed in time).
At the end of the simulation I checked the volume log file, shown below:

My question is, why the 2D Inflow and the 2DOutflow aren’t equal to Cum Inflow and Cum outflow (in the volume for 2D Flow Area)?

I also ran another model, I used a normal depth for the Downstream boundary condition, and in this case, this numbers are equal… (2D Inflow = Cum Inflow, 2D Outflow = Cum Outflow).

    Thanks in advance…

    So, the real question is:

If there is one, what is the difference between 2D Inflow and Cum Inflow ?
And 2D Outflow VS Cum Outflow?

Of course If I a have only a 2D area with an upstream hydrograph and a stage hydrograph (constant in time for the whole simulation) as boundary conditions…
