I have two upstream Boundary Conditions and and one downstream condition. Originally, I just had one upstream condition defined as a flow hydrograph and the downstream as normal depth, but wanted to see the effects of a small stream on the model. So, I added a third BC as a flow hydrograph. These BC lines do not intersect and are not close to touching in the model. When I run the simulation it won’t even start up. I immediately get an error message saying the new BC “needs flow or stage hydrograph condition”, which it is. I can’t seem to find anything online about this.

Did you add flows for them? Do they have different names?

Yes and yes. They are both defined as flow hydrographs with different names and different flow data.

can you post a screen shot of the error?

The BC in question defined – it has a flow hydrograph associated with it

    Can you share the files?

The problem was the number of characters in the name assigned to the BC. What a joke…
