2d flow area

Hello,

I would like to create a 2D flow area in HEC-RAS 5.0.1, and it is a very long reach, so I don’t want to click it.
Is there a chance to import a polyline from AutoCAD or insert the coordinates of the breakpoints of the flow area?

Under “GIS Tools” within the Geometry Editor, there is an option for “Storage Area/2D Flow Area Outlines Table …”

Vertices, or the spatial/X-Y coordinates of vertices, of a polygon defining the 2D mesh can usually be pasted into this table. Smoothing edges beforehand will generally avoid a large number errors when defining and refining a 2D mesh.
