I have looked high and low and read all i could about culverts crossing 2d area connections. I can’t find any report or table that quantifies flow through culverts. Is there a way to get a report or listing of this? I put a connection through a 2d area and added culverts that show on the profile.

Go to the main HECRAS window and select ‘view’, ‘Detailed output tables’. This will bring up a new window where you can select the required culvert and it will provide flow information for that culvert.

I have tried that, but the value for culvert group is 0.00 in that and any other table . I know there is flow through it. Water depth is 9′ on upstream side and 2′ downstream side, velocities .13 upstream and 1.6 downstream. Thanks for your answer though.

I may be stating the obvious, but did you scroll through the profile tab. If you looked at time zero then the culvert flow would likely be zero. You need to scroll through the profile tab to reach the peak flow time where the culverts will register flow.

Well it is obvious I did not know about that part of the table. ha. I was expecting peak flow and didn’t notice the time in the profile tab.
Thank you for your responses. You can take the rest of the day off.
