    Hello

I am modeling a river, complete 2D, which has bunch of dikes. I have modelled these dikes as 2D connections. I have gone through the manual regarding the type of methods avaialabe for computing the flow overtopping the dikes and their applicability.

The weir equation in the 2D connection option refers to the standard weir equation but I am not sure if its using the WSE as HEAD or TOTAL ENERGY as HEAD (this is the question I am asking).

If we look at the RAS HYDRAULIC REFERENCE, for 1D, when we select a lateral structure, it gives you an option to choose head type i.e. WSE or TOTAL ENERGY. This option does not exist for 2D connection. I presume the 2D should be using total energy for its weir equation computations but any help / guidance on the question will be appreciated.
    Regards
