    Hi mab aba,

I never had this issue so far with my bridge modeled has SA/2D connection in version 6.3. Ground is always the same than Current Terrain. It seems like it is not a problem of cells alignment with the bridge. I did the test to not enforce cells by not using the “Edit Internal Connection (Break Line) Cell Spacing…” and “Enforce Internal Connection as Breakline in 2D Flow Area” option when right clicking the SA/2D Connection in geometry Data View but it doesn’t create your situation. Have you make sure that the geometry is associated with the right terrain in RASMapper? I can’t see nothing else for now…

This is most likely the user entered “distance to US cross section and deck”. In full 2D the bridge will generate 2 dotted red lines representing cross sections 1 and 4 in a typical bridge modeling rules. In practice, for 2D bridges, I like to place the distance as close to my bridge as possible OR at least make sure that the dotted line ends up at a cell triangulation (this can be done via breaklines)
